Nigeria women have been enco
uraged to be involved in politics and be not scared away from the rudiments behind its elective positions which turned down many women in party positions aspiration. But for me “I cannot aspire for the 2023 elective positions because it is difficult, and I can not engage in snatching ballot boxes like it is done at the polling booth during election period” .
The Award recipient, Chief Mrs. Lucy Ajayi made this known on Saturday during the Fabulous International Achievers Awards 2022 held held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and industry Hall, that
Nigeria parents have been faced with many challenges even on a girl child, but it is important to make non of their girl child inferior in any sector or sphere of life, and encourage gender equalism to enable them to excel in their field without experiencing any ambitious difficulties.
She beseeched women to continue to see good thing in their lives and stop complaining that women are not given chance in the elective positions that as you complained there are still one million and one million in the political terrain.
While she declared her interest in the appointing positions as she urged that more women should be added more in the positions.
She congratulated the convener of Fabulous awards 2022 for her resilience in the continuity as a woman, and prayed that God give her a good legacy for her children.
The Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Princess Folashade Oba said Nigerians must try to concentrate to give their energy to contribute the best in the country to achieve greatness.
She thereby urged Nigeria men to see women as help ate and never see anyone less than the other and give every other person a voice to move on because everyone deserves a beautiful world.
Talking about Indian woman becoming a prime minister in her country, and it is not solely for Nigeria women that are faced with the challenges;so “I thank God for my mum who has taught me that I can attain whatever height I desired” which should make parent give their girl child voice now to groom them at the secondary level to add value, and let them know that they are not limited, because it is only a girl child who will limit herself. She advised.
The Guest Speaker, Chief Tajudeen Akande spoke briefly about making every Nigeria comfortable with the right active democratic society, that political instabilities cannot lead Nigeria to a better place of peace.
He buttressed that Nigeria 2023 elections would be favourable to all Nigerians when we imbibe the principles that elect competent leaders with good characters and compassionately stick to the due process of Nigeria democracy.
Other Awards recipient, Prince Kola Obadare thanked the organiser of the awards ceremony for recognising him in the real estate business and contributions, also advised young ones to change from living a fake life and emulate progressive skills to change your world because Rome was not built in a day.
