colleague, and most especially, a friend-turned-sister, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA in Lagos.
According to her, ‘if you are growing older lots of things have to be put behind you. I encourage her to take good care of herself and family. She shouldn’t allow the hectic and strenous nature of the job take away her love for her immediate family and of course her extended family and for the whole of Ikosi-Isheri at large. I wish her long life, prosperity and good health.”
Speaking further, she said that Princess, is a colleague turned sister.
“I call her a colleague-turned-sister because I have had many engagements with her, which stood her out. We have been together for almost four years now. Although, we have our differences, we sort them out within ourselves. It does not go beyond where we had it, before you know it, we will start talking again.
“We are both in a Conference 57 committee together, in that committee, she’s been very good.
“Her behavioural pattern is something to reckon with, she’s a rare gem. When you offend her, she will tell you, she doesn’t keep malice, that’s one thing I cherish in her,” she said.
She however, advised women to standup and not be pushed aside.
