Adeogun Bags Honourary Doctorate Degree of Institute Of Leadership in Manpower And Management Development
The founder of Asiwaju Progressive Forum and National Coordinator of Tinubu National Think-Tank (TNT), Hon. Adewale Adeogun has bagged a doctorate degree (honours) from the Institute of Leadership Manpower And Management Development.

The event held at Best Western Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday October 14, 2023, and dignitaries across various walks of life were present at the ceremony.
Speaking with National Moment shortly after the investiture, Adeogun expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God Almighty and appreciated the people who took out time to celebrate with him, and those who supported him to be who he is today.
“Few years ago, somebody introduced the institute to me and I found out that they are genuine. I checked their profile and discovered that quite a number of individuals have passed through the institute. Today, the institute bestowed a doctorate degree (honour) on me,” he said.
Speaking further, Hon. Adeogun said that “it is a good thing, when you are honoured based on your hard work, consistency, and loyalty towards people around you. I feel the word ‘leadership’ has correlation to human endeavour. Meanwhile, the honour would add value to what I have been doing before.”
According to the Founder of APF, some of the titles are used to galvanize the world and make people see what they can do.

He stated that every honour is not only an advantage, but a step to do more, adding that someone once said that the reward for hard work is more work.
“Therefore, this honour would spur me to reshape my leadership quality to be a team leader to those I am leading. Even in the political spectrum of Nigeria today, everyone is trying to do his best to showcase what he knows how to do best,” he said.
Speaking further, the Ambassador of Peace said that the honour bestowed on him would serve as an impetus for him to redouble what he has been doing before.
Leadership, according to Dr. Adeogun, is not about individuals, but their characters.
“I will only advise young people to put more effort into whatever they are doing presently and do it to the better. Some of us, who are seen on the media need to be careful because people are looking at us to see what we can do,” he said.
Hon. Adeogun was honoured with ‘Jakadan Arewa’ in Gombe (Ambassador of Peace), for all the 19 States of the Northern Region
He stated that when he was about to be made ‘Ambassador of Peace’ people told him how Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu started when he was honored with ‘Jagaban Borgu’ in Niger State.
“So, many atimes, when I am lonely, I ask myself who’s actually Adewale Adeogun? What actually propelled people to see what I am doing to deserve this honour?
“If you look at the calibre of people that were honoured today, you will notice that I am about the least among them. We have captains of industries that were honoured. Though, I have also paid my dues, if you look at it, it’s not always easy to do good.
“Most people see us as showing off, but we know within ourselves that we have to do it because if we don’t, people won’t recognisze us, they won’t actually see the quality in us,” he said.
He then encouraged younger ones to always do the little they can to be recognized, saying that he was happy to be part of those that were honoured at the event.
Speaking about President Bola Tinubu, Adeogun emphasized that he is his principal, mentor, and somebody he looks up to because he always thinks outside the box.
He said that Tinubu is somebody that can turn a wood into a house, saying that this was why he is the National Coordinator of Tinubu National Think-Tank, adding that his activities covers political ideology, and that being a progressive, he wants to be seen adding values to politics and governance.
“People mocked me, when I established APF about four years ago. I was one of the very few people who started the support for Jagaban, and I stood my ground. Today, the rest is history, we are not only doing it politically, we have our men in government because we can talk to ministers, senators, members of the Federal House of Representatives and they listen to us.
“Politically, I thank God and advise young ones that whatever they are doing well they should stick to it, sooner or later they would reap the reward,” he said.
