Ambode felicitates with Nigerians on the occasion of new year.
It is the yuletide season again and following usual tradition and in the spirit of the festive period, Nigerians are enjoined to show love and empathy to one another irrespective of political inclinations
His excellency, the man of the people Mr Akinwunmi Ambode following his annual ritual, is celebrating this occasion with his immediate constituents, the Lagosians; who converged on his Epe home.
At the gathering Mr Ambode admonished his teeming supporters and party faithfuls across all divides and political lineage on the need to strengthen bonds, love and mutual coexistence, especially showing empathy to the downtrodden. He also identified with his die-hard supporters who trooped in their thousands; to pray for greater glory and peace in our dear Lagos State and Nigeria at large as we approach our forthcoming party primaries and general elections.
Ambode in his characteristic manner as a peace loving but committed democrat, enjoined all Nigerians, Lagosians in particular to join hands with the government to fight the current Covid 19 pandemic and emerging variants in order to effectively phase out the pandemic.
He asked God for His divine intervention to accept all our supplications, forgive our transgressions, give us peace, mercy and tranquility in our dear Lagos State, Nigeria and the world at large in this new year and beyond.
“I wish you all a rewarding and blessed 2022”, he concluded.
