AREWA : we are behind you, Sa’adu.. Seriki Hausawa Amuwo and Alaba Rago.
The Sariki Hausawa of Kuje, Oriade lcda, in Amuwo odofin, and Alaba Rago in Ojo local government Area, lagos state have thrown their weight behind the good gesture of the Arewa in APC, chairman, Hon Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf Gulma, on reconciliating all aggrieved members in the Party.
Alhaji Sulaimon Rabiu Maikoyi, Seriki Hausawa of Kuje in Amuwo Odofin made the pledge as he received the Chairman in his Palace on Sunday. Seriki Rabiu addressed the chairman as a man of dignity and honour, in all his aspect,
“As good friends for long time we have built confident in you, that is why we never hesitated, on your Emergence, we know you will bring every one together, no matter the faction, we are one”.
The Kuje seriki also urged all Arewa people to support the moving train because we want unity, which have bind us together since advent, before some forces decided to look away, that have inflicted pain, abandonment and use dump on our people, he stressed that our people’s welfare is paramount to us irrespective of where we are, because, those in our different states up Northern Nigeria are watching us, carefully. He thank the chairman, Hon Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf for picking up the tasks of returning our faith back to us.
Hon Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf, was amazed at the turn out of Arewa communities in Abule ado, ilepo, agboju, Kirikiri, at the palace he assured the Seriki and the communities that mechanism is in place to actualize that dream toward a 2023, Election both in Lagos state and Nigeria,
“we will not be destracted by any body in making our people unite again, Arewas in Lagos state have come to stay, we will ensure every brothers and sisters get the dividen of democracy, from the sitting government, we know the government have trust in us, Sanwo olu, have faith in us as we also pushing toward actualizing our National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023, project, we can not do it alone, we need every Arewa communities in Lagos state to join us, and make difference, we are steadfast and focus “Sa’adu said.
Meanwhile, The Seriki Hausawa of Alaba Rago, in Ojo Local Government Area, Alhaji Umar Nagoggo Sokoto, also advised the chairman to spread the branch of olive tree in reconciliation to other people because we are one family,
” we (Seriki’s) in Lagos state are not happy, with the conditions that our people are pasaing through, we do our business here, and mobilzed greatly for our Party, but at the End, nothing get to us, we only hear something came from the Government, at the end nothing reaches us, it is not out of place to have at least a councillors across the state in local government, we appreciate our National Leader for giving us A Honourable Commisioner but like oliver twist , we still need more, we know that with our unity in bringing out Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf as our chairman, he will perform because he is a man with open heart, not that he is hungry or demanding but he want to see his people enjoy the benefits of their struggles in making lagos state proud of them”.
Hon Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf, appreciated the warm reception giving to his team, and ensure a lasting impact in the progression of the task, according to him
“I was shocked when a collective decision was made by the BOT, In Arewa APC Lagos State to make me, chairman, it is the confidence that is placed on me that i must deliver, Hon Usman shehu Sampam, fmr chairman Alhaji Dandama Muhammadu Yabo, late Musa Yau, woman Leader in Surulere, and host of others in the party hiarachy nominated me to lead, that is what i have being doing since last year to reconcile our brothers who are angry due to how they were treated, and assuring them that our great leaders have them at heart greatly, as he will do everything promised, we are not going to be destracted, because we have a focus government, which i will report to after the familiarization and Reconciliation tour “.
