Breaking: Adeleke, Sultan, Ooni, CSOs in massive celebebration of African King, Olojudo of Ido Osun

In the history of African Traditional Council, Today was historic as invited Guests across the World that turned out in multitude turned “De Distinguished Multi Purpose Hall”, Osogbo – Iwo Road, Ido Osun, Osun State, and its surroundings to the holy land, just to pay their last respect to the late Icon, Legal luminary and epitome of Yoruba Language, Culture and Tradition, His Royal Majesty, Kabiyesi Alayemore, Architect (Dr) Barrister Aderemi Adeen Adedapo (Saporoyo I), Olojudo Alayemore of Ido Osun, Osun State, who passed on at the age of 72 years on Thursday, 23 May, 2024.

He was an Engineer to the Traditional Council and promotion of African Language, Culture and Tradition, not only in Yorubaland or Nigeria as a Country but in the whole of Africa Continent. He was our Mentor of Decades.

Until his death, our later Teacher, Mentor and Kabiyesi was the only Royal father in Nigeria with full continental rank within Africa. He was Secretary, Yoruba Traditional Council, Secretary, BoT, National Traditional Council of Nigeria and Convener, Traditional Council of Africa

He jokingly added N10, 000 to round up ongoing public donations for the Civil Societies’ Burial Programme for Late Afenifere Spokesperson, Comrade Yinka Odumakin, to N10, 000, 000, in the year 2021 while Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Enitan Ojaja II donated the Ojaja Arena Hall and Guest House, Ile – Ife, and for the same purpose.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State N5 million, Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun N2.5 million, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti N1 million, apart from their individual donations to the Central Burial Committee through Southwest Governors’ Forum, and several other notable individuals assisted us

Governor Ademola Adeleke was today represented by his Deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, who extoled virtues of late Kabiyesi and called for a peaceful selection process of his successor while Alawo of Awo spoke on behalf of Ooni of Ife and Southwest Traditional Council. Also in attendance were Orangun of Oke Ila, Oba (Dr) Adedokun Abolarin, a Royal father in Saki, Oke – Ogun, Oyo State, represented Okere of Saki while Sultan of Sokoto sent his soul lifting condolence message. Foremost June 12 Activist, Executive President, Bola Ige Centre for Justice and National Coordinator, Coaliton of Pro – Democracy Groups for A Better Nigeria, Comrade Awa Bamiji, led a powerful team of various Leaders of Civil Societies and seasoned Journalists from Impact Business Radio (IBR) and Independent African Television (IATV), Iyana Church – General Gas Road, Ibadan, to the venue in Osogbo and he was warmly received by the Deputy Governor of Osun State to the High Table to the admiration of the breaved families, Royal fathers and other Guests.

Four (4) different Musicians including Alhaji Sefiu Alao (who performed inside the Reception Hall) entertained the Guests at 4 different locations while the proceedings of Fidau Prayer coordinated by Islamic Clerics and Receiption were transmitted live in 2 different Radio Stations, Rave FM and Unique FM, in Osun State. Assorted food and drinks were surplus. Security was beefed up throughout the event

The celebebration of his life and times today was highly befitting and beauty sight to behold. May his soul continues rest in peace.
