Comrade Ayodele Adewale, Organising Secretary APC Lagos State Chapter and Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Special Duties 2 Directorate joined party faithfuls and supporters at the Sani Abacha stadium, Kano State, venue of the APC Mega Presidential Rally for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the APC.
He also visited the Kano home of Alhaji Salihu Abubakar Tanko Yakasai, the 97 year old Marxist Leninist and human rights activist. A well respected and prominent Northern and Nigerian politician, Alhaji Tanko is a founding member of the Arewa Consultative Forum and was a legislative assistant to President Shehu Shagari former President Federal Republic of Nigeria during the 2nd Republic.
Comrade Ayodele Adewale was accompanied by his friend, comrade and brother Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai son of Alhaji Tanko Yakasai former Senate President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), former President National Youth Council of Nigeria and Special Adviser on Employment to Governor Umar Ganduje, Executive Governor of Kano State and National Coordinator Grassroots Movement for Asiwaju Tinubu and Shettima (G-MATS) of which comrade Ayodele is his deputy.
Alhaji Yakasai promised to win over three million votes for Asiwaju from the 19 northern states of Nigeria
