Engr. Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led a high-profile delegation of APC leaders to the Ondo State Governorship Election Monitoring Situation Room in Akure to evaluate the progress of the election monitoring process.

The delegation included prominent APC governors such as His Excellency Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Governor Hyacinth Lormem Alia of Benue State, Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State. Joining them were Senator Ovie Omo-Agege former Deputy Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, some APC NWC executives and some APC State Party Chairmen.

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu praised Engr. Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for his leadership role in coordinating the Party’s campaign activities. He also thanked Senator Dr. Ajibola Basiru, National Secretary of the APC for assembling and overseeing an outstanding election monitoring team that helped the APC party to deliver on its task.

Earlier in the day prior to the arrival of the Governors, Engr. Dr. Ganduje commended the hard work of Senator Dr. Ajibola Basiru, APC National Secretary of the APC for setting up a highly sophisticated technological election monitoring hub and assembling a quality skilled team to oversee and manage the election monitoring system.

The APC National Chairman and his team appreciated the valuable contributions of His Excellency Comrade Philip Shaibu, former Deputy Governor of Edo State, for his great contribution, dedication, and in-depth ideas put forward to ensure the success of the process.

Dr. Ganduje also commended Comrade Ayodele Adewale, the immediate past Executive Chairman, Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Lagos State and currently serving as the APC State Organising Secretary, Lagos State chapter for his selfless service, intellectual contributions, and tireless energy in supporting the Party and its Governorship candidate Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

In Dr. Ganduje’s words, all members of the APC party have worked collectively and very hard; the Party is optimistic about the victory of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa at the end of the election process.
