A group under the auspices of Grassroot Network for Asiwaju Tinubu, G.N.A.T. which is mobilizang support for the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential ambition in 2023, on Wednesday met at the Airport Hotel, Lagos to formerly launch the project in the State.
The group is mostly made up of former Local Government functionaries in Lagos state on the platform of the All progressives Congress, APC and focusing on grassroot mobilization to ensure that Asiwaju emerges victorious in 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria.
Speaking to RSDNEWSPORTAL, one of the co- founders of G.N.A.T. and former executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, Comrade Ayodele Adewale explained that the group was focusing at the grassroot using former LGA functionaries to mobilize support for Asiwaju’s Presidential Project.
Comrade Adewale who was recently elected as the organizing secretary of the All Progressive Congress in Lagos State further said, The essence of G.N.A.T. is to look at other angles that many political groups that are focusing towards ensuring that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins the forthcoming presidential elections in 2023.
We feel as former local government henchmen, that there is great need to bring the campaign to the grass root and as such, we have taproot at the grassroot level, we are grass root soldiers and close to our people and our people are close to us.
