KANO STATE POLICE COMMAND RECOVERS SEVEN STOLEN VEHICLES; ARRESTS SUSPECTS
The Kano State Police Command is pleased to announce the recovery of seven stolen vehicles and the arrest of several suspects in a series of successful operations aimed at combating vehicle theft and related crimes including armed robbery, in the State.
The Command’s Special Intervention Squad (SIS), on the direction of the Command CP, worked tirelessly to track down stolen vehicles and apprehend suspects.
Notable recoveries include a Toyota RAV4, Peugeot 406, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Yaris, a truck, White Toyota Matrix, and a White Forland truck.
In connection with these recoveries, several suspects have been arrested, including those involved in armed robbery. The suspects are currently helping investigation and will be brought to justice.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, PhD, sfipma, mnim, mnips, masis, commended the police officers for their dedication and professionalism in tackling crimes in the State. He also appreciated the good people of Kano State for their prayers, support, encouragement, and cooperation.
The Kano State Police Command remains committed to fighting crimes and ensuring the safety and security of lives and property in the State.
