Lessons from Mohbad’s life and demise.
I have been following information regarding MohBad since he died, even though I never heard about him when he was alive.
The story of this talented young man touched my heart, a child who was raised in God’s vineyard.
He saw himself as LIGHT (Ìmọ́lẹ̀) but the adversaries manipulated his path and destiny.
‘My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.’
Churches have great roles to play in preserving the lives of the young ones, how do they do that? by giving them encouragement to do better for God, mentoring them, giving financial support, praying for them and knowing who they associate with, especially in schools.
Those people I pity most are the instrumentalists in churches, majority of them are in struggle but despite that, they chose to serve God with their talents and time.
Unfortunately, they move out of God’s covering into the world where they are appreciated and compensated but when you go to the music department in churches, you’ll find instruments without Instrumentalist, come and check them after some time, they have changed from what they used to be. ‘Evil communication corrupt good manners.’
‘Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers, what communion has light and darkness?…’
If you are a rising star, hold on to Jesus, He that has given you your talent is able to add every other things unto you.
Jesus only is enough, see how Mohbad ended his life, he started well but he was deceived and he ended up his life as a victim, none of our youths will make the mistake Mohbad made in Jesus name.
Churches! Please be concerned about the lives of the youth.
