Media Czar – Chief Eze Cancels Wife’s Birthday Over Nephew’s Death
Media mogul and erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has called off the birthday celebration of his beloved wife, Evang. Henrietta Ada Chukwuemeka-Eze, over the sudden demise of his nephew (younger brother’s son) who died on 2nd September 2024 a full grown adult during his sleep.
Chief Eze who conveyed the cancellation through a statement made available to the media regretted the unfortunate development, stressing that the death has thrown the family into mourning, distorting individual schedules and other events earlier programmed for the week including his wife’s birth commemoration on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
Eze prayed God to grant the gentle soul of his brother’s son eternal rest.
The APC chieftain however used the medium to send birthday wishes to his dear wife, describing her as a “mulier fortis”, – an Exceptional Woman, Erudite Evangelist, and a special Gift from God to mankind; a virtuous woman, with a special mastery in home building and sundry matters who stands out as the embodiment of true womanhood and composite definition of a virtuous woman as explained in the Holy Book, Proverbs Chapter 31.
Excerpts from the statement reads; “even as we mourn, it is with great joy that I thank God for sparing the life of my beloved wife who have stood by me in all my period of travails and enjoyment till date.
“My dear Wife, you always make me realize how fortunate I am for having you in my life. I love you so much and hope your new age brings you as much joy and happiness as you have brought and continue to bring into my life.”
Expatiating further he said: “The impacts of this great daughter of God in my life, right from the very day we met back then in the University of Calabar in Cross Rivers State in 1986 till date, need not be overemphasized.”
“The fact remains that I do wonder what would have become of my life if not for this God’s Gift to me who against all odds agreed to marry me when I had no kobo as an undergraduate.”
“It is she whom God used to bless my thirty-three years of blissful marital life and through whom God has also used to bless me with six great and exceptional children, five of whom are graduates and one, an undergraduate.”
“I will for the rest of my life, with the help of God continue to love her for bringing sunshine into my life and family. She is just a tool that God used to uplift me to my present status and I will always be grateful to God and her parents, brothers, and sisters who accepted me when I was nobody and made this union possible.”
“I pray God to bless her new age and grant her more fruitful years in order to reap from all that she has sacrificed in building our union and family.”
