Nyesom Wike Would Regret Not Listening To God Over Fubara’s Candidature In 2023 – Prophet Ikuru

Prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, Egbeda, Lagos has said that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), Nyesom Wike failed to heed the several warnings of God through His servants about fielding Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State in the 2023 General Elections.

Prophet Ikuru said on Friday May 17, 2024 in Lagos that the failure to obey the warnings of God over the matter has several consequences, while commenting on the state of affairs in Rivers State and the crisis currently rocking the state over the fight between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Nyesom Wike.

According to him, those who fail to listen to God’s warnings would surely pay dearly for it irrespective of their positions, level, money, or fame, saying that when it comes to God, people must listen and do what He tells them.

“Wike was warned about fielding Fubara as the Governor of Rivers State in 2023, but he failed to heed the warnings.

“The consequences, which have resulted in a series of crisis in the state, and prevented Fubara from concentrating on governing the state, has also affected Wike in the FCT, because instead of the two to focus on the tasks before them, they are both dealing with the crisis,” he said.

Prophet Ikuru expressed concern over Wike’s inability to restore electricity to the FCT.

He said that the crisis between Wike and Fubara has really distracted the former from concentrating on the tasks given to him by President Bola Tinubu, who appointed him as FCT Minister of the FCT.

“It should be noted that many ministers are not performing to the expectations of their principal. I am saying this because I struggled, laboured and traveled to many states for this government because of the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President.

“This can only be achieved if all the members of the cabinet and political appointees do their jobs diligently,” he said.

The cleric then urged ministers, and political appointees to focus on their principal’s mandate.

He noted that, “I live for this government.’ So, if anybody tries to play with the government or play with my life, I won’t sit back and keep quiet.

“I’m calling on all the ministers, and all the cabinet members to focus on their jobs to make sure that some of us who believe in President Tinubu would not be disappointed over his bid to transform Nigeria to a greater nation.

“I want the Renewed Hope Agenda promised by the President to carry everybody along,” he said.

The man of God then appealed to all Nigerians to exercise patience with the government, promising that sooner or later everyone would enjoy the government.

The seer however, used the opportunity to commiserate with the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on the passing unto glory of his Deputy Chief of Staff, Gboyega Soyannwo who died on Wednesday at the age of 55, and prayed that God would grant the departed soul eternal rest and comfort his family.
