NYSC DG ADVICES LAGOS CORPS MEMBERS ON SECURITY, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, OTHERS

The Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General YD Ahmed has during his visit to the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja, urged 2024 Batch “A” Stream I Corps Members undergoing Orientation Course at the Camp to prioritize their security and to avoid travelling during service except if necessary.

He advised that if they must travel outside the State, they must obtain permission to do that.

The Director General also emphasized on the need to avoid night journeys, indecent dressing but gravitate towards self-development, through skill acquisition and entrepreneurial activities.

Earlier during the event, the State Coordinator NYSC Lagos, Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa, briefed the Director General on the activities of the Course, and the support of the State Government especially on the NYSC Lagos Permanent Orientation Camp Site in Agbowa, Ikorodu where the government has conducted drilling and soil-testing.

Notable among the activities of the event was the presentation of an artwork to the Director General by a Corps Member, Faith Omole(LA/22B!8947), who uses symbols to create image, with hidden meanings.
