Orile Agege Council Chair, Babatunde Johnson Set To Empower Constituents
All are set for the empowerment of youths in Orile Agege Local Council Development Area (LCDA) as the chairman of the council, Hon. Babatunde Johnson is set to empower more than 300 youths in the area with N100,000 tagged ‘Wealth Creation Seminar billed to hold on Friday July 21, 2023.
The empowerment, according to information, will take place at the Council Secretariat from 11am in Arigbanla, Lagos.
The Friday program is titled: “POS Youth Empowerment Session with The Executive Chairman.”
Investigations conducted by our correspondent revealed that Hon. Johnson has always been in touch with his community, most especially the youths, to the extent during #EndSars crisis many of them stood firmly in defence Secretariat waiting to see anyone who would set it ablaze but all thanks to the good and working relationship of the Hon. Johnson.
“The power of youths is the commonwealth for the entire world. The faces of young people are the faces of our past, our present and our future,” Hon. Johnson said.
According to the council chair, “when money realizes that it is in good hands, it will want to stay and multiply in those hands.
Therefore, come Friday July 21 more than 300 youths in the area will be empowered.”
One of the youths in the area said that “the council chairman has been a believer in the saying that “an idle hand is a devil’s workshop,” which is why he promised that most of the youths in Orile Agege must be fully engaged.”
