SYNAGOGUE CHURCH OF ALL NATIONS FETES GUESTS AT TB JOSHUA’S 60TH POST HUMOUS BIRTHDAY
By: Rasheed Yusuf
June 12 to the members and
disciples of late Prophet T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations is a most remarkable day. It is a joyful day of remembrance as they mark the life and times of the late founder of the church.
Born on the 12th day of June, 1963, in Arigidi- Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria to a working class family, his birth was much awaited as he spent 15months before his birth. This was seen as a most spectacular sign.
His journey through life was tortious but with determination and dexterity, he was able to climb through the hurdles of life and establish not just a Church, but an international outreach that has made impact on many lives in Nigeria and abroad. The Synagogue Church Of All Nations has existed for over three decades and is indeed a lasting legacy.
The drums were all rolled out as the SCOAN Choir rendered melodious tunes to guests upon arrival. Other activities were classical Opera performances, drama presentation, choreography, song presentations, tributes and birthday wishes and cutting of the birthday cake by guests. In all, it was a colorful event marked by glitz, goodwill and a remarkable sumptuous dinner that was prepared for thousands of guests who came from all over the world, to celebrate the life and times of a great man.
